Killer instinct

I found a new series! Zoe Sharp's Charlie Fox is smart and tough.

The writing style certainly kept me turning the pages, but many of the twists were obvious enough that I wasn't left with a lot of respect for Charlie's judgment. Her characterization bounces from street-smart and thoughtful to unobservant tough chick whenever making a mistake seems better for the plot.
