This is a very helpful resource for associates who are beginning to think about client development activities, as well as those who have been doing some of this work but are looking for more targeted guidance. It does need a little updating to reflect the latest in online marketing, etc.

I read this book from cover to cover to help me write my book for the ABA, "Smart Marketing for Smart Firm Lawyers." My staff implemented many of the ideas to improve our office.

This book gives a good step-by-step guide to building your firm, no matter what stage you are in. I am currently going through it, and I am seeing results already after 3 weeks.
